1. Eligibility and Accounts

1.1 Eligibility

• Be at least 13 years old.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

The App is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, you may not use Prayerified.

1.2 Account Registration

You create an account using Supabase Auth, which may use email/password or supported third-party sign-in providers (such as Google) depending on how we configure the App.

You agree to provide accurate and current information (e.g., name and email address) as part of the authentication process. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.

We do not store raw passwords. Passwords (if you use email/password) are handled securely by Supabase. If you sign in via a provider like Google, we do not receive your provider password; authentication is handled by that provider.

2. Description of the Service

Prayerified is a prayer verification app that allows you to:

• Log time spent praying for yourself or others
• Use and share prayer codes to connect prayers with friends and family
• View aggregated statistics about prayer time and themes

Prayerified is intended as a spiritual and personal reflection tool. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice; legal or professional counseling; or a substitute for emergency services or mental health support. If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.

3. Acceptable Use

By using Prayerified, you agree that you will not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate any person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users’ accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App (e.g., via bots, scraping, or excessive automated requests).
• Use the App to store or transmit hate speech, threats, harassment, explicit/abusive content, or spam/unsolicited messages.

We reserve the right to investigate and, where appropriate, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content and Prayer Activity

4.1 Your Content

“User Content” includes information you create or provide through the App, such as prayer codes and nicknames, logged prayers (topics, themes, durations), and settings/preferences.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your User Content solely for operating, improving, and providing the Service.

4.2 Aggregated and Anonymized Data

We may use your data in aggregated or anonymized form (e.g., total time prayed in a category across all users), which cannot reasonably be used to identify you personally. We may use such aggregated data to generate overall stats, improve the App, or communicate high-level usage trends (e.g., “Top prayer themes this month”). We will not publicly attribute specific prayers or prayer times to you personally.

5. Privacy

Your use of Prayerified is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices and rights. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 Supabase Auth and Backend

Prayerified uses Supabase to provide authentication, database, and backend services. Your use of these features is also subject to Supabase’s terms and privacy practices. Supabase may store your account/authentication data, handle sign-in and session management, and process your data as needed to operate the Service on our behalf. If you sign in using a provider (such as Google), your use of that provider is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

6.2 Analytics and Hosting

We may use third-party providers such as hosting providers to run the App and analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand usage and improve performance. These third parties may process data on our behalf but are not allowed to use it for their own unrelated purposes.

7. Cookies and Sessions

Prayerified uses cookies and similar technologies for session management (keeping you signed in via Supabase Auth) and basic security/performance. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or behavioral tracking. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect functionality.

8. Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, or remove features; update design or functionality; or temporarily/permanently discontinue parts of the Service. We will do our best to provide notice for major changes where practical, but reserve the right to make changes at any time.

9. Termination

You may stop using Prayerified at any time and may request account deletion according to our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your use poses a risk to us/others, or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We may delete or anonymize your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and retention practices.

10. Disclaimers

Prayerified is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties or representations, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, reliability, availability, or accuracy of the App or its content. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that logged prayer times/stats will always be accurate or available; or that the App will meet all expectations or spiritual needs. Prayerified does not guarantee any particular spiritual, emotional, or life outcome.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App or these Terms will be limited to the amount (if any) you have paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $0 if you have not made any such payments.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prayerified and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Region], without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [Your City/State/Region], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. If you are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection or arbitration rules, those may apply in addition to or instead of this section.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., in-app notice or email, if available). Your continued use of Prayerified after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
